Why Give?

At Trinity our desire is not be pushy or manipulative about giving to the Church.  However, we believe that the scriptures command us to give a Tithe of our personal income to their local church.  In fact, we apply this to the church too: we tithe 10% of the offering to other organizations and individuals who are serving the Lord in a variety of ways. (See Ministries We Serve.)

What is Tithe?  Traditionally this is 10% of your gross income.  We know of no one who, once they starting tithing, have regretted it.

Online Giving - from your Bank

Use the Bill Payer feature on your bank's website.  Your bank will mail a paper check to Trinity for you.  Simply login to your account on your bank's website (contact them if you need a login and password.)  You can either send a one-time gift to Trinity, or set up a recurring payment that will automatically send a check to us every month of the same amount.

You will need to setup Trinity as a "PAYEE" and give our mailing address. For best security, use our P. O. Box as follows:

Trinity Fellowship Church
P. O. Box 727
HIckory, NC 28603

If your banks asks for you an "ACCOUNT NUMBER" for Trinity, simply type in your last name in this field.  We don't assign account numbers, but track giving by your name.

(* Different banks charge different fees for using their Bill Payer service.  Remember when deciding whether or not to use this service you are paying for convenience, and for printing and mailing of the check.)

Online Giving - on Trinity's Website

We are currently looking into adding a way for you to give online via Trinity's Website.  Due to the transaction costs (credit card commissions and monthly fees), and the additional administrative overhead, we do not yet support this ability. However, we hope to in the near future.  We are also looking into automatic monthly debits (ACH) that you can sign up for.

For now, please bring your offering to the worship service, mail a check to our P. O. Box, or use your bank's online Bill Payer service.
